Task 1: Coordination Meeting/Work Schedule Coordination Meeting: The Contractor shall participate in a pre-project coordination meeting with the CMD Contract Manager (CM; Contract Manager and Alternate CM personnel and contact information will be included in the contract provided to the awarded vendor), which may be conducted over the phone. The Contractor shall submit to the CM a proposed work schedule for implementing each task specified in this Statement of Work (SOW). If necessary, the Contractor shall revise the work schedule so that it is mutually acceptable to the CM and the Contractor. Schedule: The Contractor will coordinate and attend a meeting with the CM within seven (7) days of the Notice to Proceed. The proposed work schedule for this SOW shall be submitted to the CM by email within 15 days after the coordination meeting. Task 2: Pre-field Work Meeting/Work Schedule Pre-Field Work Meeting: Each year the Contractor shall participate in a pre-field work meeting with the CM. This meeting shall occur in the late winter/early spring (approximately February, depending on field conditions) and occur at CR to familiarize the Contractor with the survey site. Prior to fieldwork, the Contractor shall receive required environmental and safety briefings from Camp Roberts Range Control and Environmental Offices. If required by military training or other scheduled events, the Contractor shall revise the field work schedule so that it is mutually acceptable to the Contractor and the CM. Schedule: The Contractor shall coordinate and attend a pre-field work schedule meeting at Camp Roberts no less than 30 days prior to initiating field work. Any revision of the field work schedule shall be submitted to the CM within 15 days after the pre-field meeting. Task 3 Site Maintenance Field Work: In an effort to facilitate survey activities, the Contractor shall repair or replace survey markers along each transect. Many previously placed survey markers are missing, causing significant time delays during survey efforts. To make surveys more efficient and straight forward, the Contractor will add surveyor nails/whiskers at all four corners of each survey quadrat (221) within the transects. The Contractor shall also remove the extra T-post that is located near Transect F. An assessment of Sibert stakes and signage will be conducted. The CMD can provide up to 100 new Sibert stakes to be replaced. If more are needed, the number and location of each replacement will be recorded. All signage locations will be GPSed, and the total number of signs will be recorded. As there are multiple signs currently in use, the language of each sign needing to be replaced will also be recorded. The CMD has 17 new signs that can be replaced around PAPA A, if more than 17 signs need replacing, record the numbers, locations, and signage type with the other sign records.
