1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. 1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

1. 1. 1. Place of performance should be within a 30-minute drive of Air Station Sacramento. This includes Natomas, Sacramento, Citrus Heights, and Fair Oaks areas.

1. 1. 1. USCG Air Station Sacramento Aviation Survival Technician (AST) Shop has a requirement for a pool to maintain physical fitness standards set by COMDINST 3710.4D Chapter 2.

1. 1. 1. Provide memberships to a facility with a pool that meets requirements outlined in 2.0.

1. SCOPE OF WORK

1. 1. Provide access to a pool so that AST and AST Candidates at Air Station Sacramento can accomplish required physical fitness training and assessments in accordance with COMDTINST M3710.4D.
   2. Requirements:
      1. The pool shall be a minimum 25 yards in length.
      2. The pool should have a deep end of at least 8.5 feet, but deeper is preferred.
      3. The pool should be within a 30-minute drive from the Air Station Sacramento, 6037 Price AVE, McClellan, CA 95652 to minimize time away from work due to traveling.
      4. Require access of use of the pool year-round, must be heated during the winter if outdoors.
      5. Entire pool should be reserved for ASTs for two-hour duration. If entire pool is not available a minimum of 8 consecutive lanes are required to allow room for up to 16 members to perform workouts and parachute disentanglement training.
      6. The pool/facility needs to have a locker room to change and shower in.
      7. The pool needs to allow the ASTs to swim with their gear and perform underwater confidence drills at rescue swimmer discretion.
      8. The pool needs to allow scheduled lane reservation for two-hours twice a week, as well as have normal open swim/lap swim times on weekdays between 0700-1400.
