Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Successful Offeror will assist the EDA in its efforts to attract foreign direct investment from Japan and the Far East in the short term and to build business and cultural relationships in the long term , with the ultimate goal of establishing Henrico County (the “County”) as a premier location in the U.S. for Japanese and other investments in the light industrial and office business sectors. More specifically, the Successful Offeror shall: A. Provide direct access to senior level governmental contacts in Washington (e.g. the Japanese Embassy and trade counselors), as well as Tokyo and other Far Eastern capitals. B. Provide entrees to trade associations, public and private sector trade and investment promotion organizations, and similar organizations principally related to the Japanese market.
