Project Management: (Phase I and II) a) Overall administration of grants under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (Code of Federal Regulations Title 44 (44 CFR), Section 404). Sound project monitoring will improve the efficiency of project implementation, and the obligations associated with the funding process. As a condition of receiving this grant, the Project Manager is obligated to monitor and evaluate the progress of the mitigation activity in accordance with the following: i. The approved statement of work and budget ii. Administrative requirements of 2 CFR Part 200 iii. Applicable state requirements b) Review the BRIC Grant regulations, coordinate with County staff on the development of procedural documents, including but not limiting to creating program guidelines, forms and Project overview materials. c) Adhere to budgetary allocations. d) Coordination with subject matter experts, environmental partners, stakeholders, County staff and contractors. e) Conduct meetings as necessary to review the project, coordinate with the consultant(s), contractor(s), and County staff and report as needed in managing the project. f) Track project performance periodically to ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met. g) Review and assess the progress of the work concerning the interpretation of the Contract Documents and compliance with BRIC grant regulations. h) Consult with the County to determine final completion of projects and prepare Notice of Completion and make acceptance recommendation to the County and final payment to the contractor. i) Other project management activities to ensure the project remains on schedule and within the budget allocations...
