The City of Sunnyvale is seeking professional consultant services for a study of artificial turf (AT) versus living groundcovers. The objective of this study is to analyze environmental, financial, and community impacts of installing artificial turf versus living groundcover on private and public properties throughout the City. The consultant will conduct research and community engagement, compile a report, and deliver policy recommendations to the City regarding the use of artificial turf or living groundcover. Partnerships and/or subcontractors are encouraged to accomplish the full scope of work as outlined in Attachment A. Proposal shall address the tasks identified in the attached Scope of Work (Attachment A), providing a description and timeline of how each task would be accomplished. Additional or optional tasks may be included and creative approaches are welcome. The final scope of work will be subject to refinement and mutual agreement following the project’s launch and further discussion. A detailed Scope of Work is contained in Attachment A.
