Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1 - Project Management • Provide overall project management including coordination and communication with the City of Burlingame. • Develop project work plans, schedules, and budgets. • Perform quality control reviews and quality assurance. • Conduct and document meetings with City staff as needed. • Conduct first in-person community meeting to gather resident input. Task 2 - Preliminary Design (35% Design Submittal) • Conduct site investigations and develop at least two conceptual drawing alternatives. • Prepare initial construction drawings, cost estimates, and design analyses. • Identify and map existing utilities and site features. • Obtain necessary permits and conduct coordination with utility companies. • Conduct a second in-person community meeting to finalize design alternatives. Task 3 - Intermediate Design (65% Design Submittal) • Revise design based on feedback from the City of Burlingame and community meetings. • Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. • Identify potential additional improvements and any conflicts. • Present the findings at the Traffic Safety & Parking Commission meeting. Task 4 - Final Design (100% Design Submittal) • Revise design based on 90% submittal feedback. • Present the final design at the Burlingame City Council. • Prepare final construction documents ready for City review and approval. • Conduct back-checking and final adjustments as necessary. Task 5 - Construction Support • Provide support during bidding and construction phases. • Respond to requests for information and clarify design documents. • Attend pre-construction meetings and conduct site visits during construction.
