Specifications include, but are not limited to: Ontario Municipal Utilities Company (OMUC) is requesting a fee proposal from Consultants for providing professional services for the design of equipping Well No. 43. OMUC Engineering and Water Operations staff identified Well No. 43 as a critical well in order to maintain a reliable source of potable water to the City. The project will consist of the design of equipping Well No. 43. Well No. 43 is located at 3650 E Airport Drive, which is on the southwesterly corner of Airport Drive and S Carnegie Avenue in the city of Ontario and is presently a vacant parcel. The well was drilled in October 2007 and is expected to have a rated design capacity of 3,000 gpm at a rated head of 705ft. The project will consist of an above ground masonry building, on-site sodium hypochlorite generation system, mechanical piping, electrical, HVAC, instrumentation, and landscaping. For the purposes of this RFP, the Consultant will design the entire project scope and assume that the project will be bid as one construction package. Consultant will prepare a complete plans and specifications construction package, including project construction schedule and probable construction cost.
