▪ Scope of Work including, but not limited to, the following tasks: o Review and Finalize Drawings: Assess the existing 60% drawings and collaborate with Stanford to develop them into complete 100% construction documents suitable for submission to the city. o Design Enhancements: Incorporate design elements for the following flood mitigation activities: ▪ Increasing the capacity of existing sump pumps. ▪ Fitting sump pumps with check valves to prevent backflow. ▪ Replacing drain lines to improve drainage efficiency. ▪ Installing flood gates at the parking ramps to protect against floodwater. ▪ Raising the height of existing retaining walls along the parking ramps. ▪ Elevating the top of lower-level stairs and associated stem walls to exceed flood elevation requirements. ▪ Designing and specifying the installation of handrails for safety compliance. ▪ Planning for landscaping replacements to enhance aesthetics and environmental sustainability. o Permit Acquisition: Coordinate with city officials to identify and obtain all necessary permits required for the proposed flood mitigation work.
