Lake County Behavioral Health Services seeks to contract with a consultant to assist with policy & procedure development regarding compliance and quality improvement for Lake County Behavioral Health Services. Consultation will include, but not be limited to the following activities: • Project management support for policy creation & updates. • Analysis of existing policy/procedure system and consultation services to improve system performance/efficiency and promote transparency. • In collaboration with County Staff, develop policies and procedures to support the development of a comprehensive Quality Improvement/Management system that reflects real-time feedback and engagement. • Consultation & support involving newly finalized Behavioral Health Information notices (BHIN’s) with respect to necessary changes to existing policy and/or new policy development needed to meet existing and future State/Federal Mandates • Create &/or conduct training activities in consultation with County staff on changes related to updated policy & BHIN’s. • Assist County in the development and implementation of a comprehensive stakeholder engagement process (involving county staff, management, and contracted providers) for new and existing policy updates; This process will include: o Support feedback/engagement activities on new/existing policy updates o Consultation services for stakeholder notification of policy changes o development of reports for departmental compliance with policy acknowledgement/review activities.
