Firm’s tasks shall include, but are not necessarily limited to, those items noted below. If the firm feels that additional tasks are warranted, they must be clearly identified in the firm’s proposal. 1. Firm will be required to provide unarmed security guard(s) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., Sunday through Saturday on an as needed basis. Events take place primarily Friday through Sunday evenings, with multiple events taking place at both locations. City facilities will be closed on the following observed holidays; Presidents’ Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. 2. Firm must provide one (1) security guard per every (100) one-hundred guests. 3. Firm shall furnish all equipment, labor, and materials necessary to provide adequate security guard services. 4. Firm must possess a current Private Patrol Operator License issued by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services, and abide by all rules, regulations, and security functions as outlined in the Private Security Services Act.
