The Contractor shall: 1. Proofs and Overlays The Contractor shall: a. Deliver two proofs and one transparent overlay of each color variance adhering to the specifications in Exhibit A, Scope of Work, Section C.7, Specifications, within 21 calendar days of the agreement start date. b. If corrections are needed, deliver two modified proofs and one transparent overlay of each corrected color variance until written approval is granted. Modified proofs and overlays are required within ten days of receipt of SCO changes. c. Delivery of proofs and overlays are required prior to each new color block production run, within 10 days of scheduled delivery 2. Testing The Contractor shall deliver test batches in accordance with Exhibit A, Attachment 1, Delivery Schedule, upon approval and overlays. 3. Packaging and Palletizing a. Clearly label each case on all four sides with color name, case number in that particular production run, first and last number in the numbering sequence (see the table in the table in Exhibit A, Attachment 1, Delivery Schedule) and the month and year the contents were printed. Examples: Dark Green Color Block Case 1 of 10 DG0727501 through DG1263501 SEPT2025 b. Seal cartons carefully with the tape- do not use staples. Per state specifications, cartons to be assembled 42” (L) X 42” (W) wooden pallets: size 2, type 2, 3990-42A-01. Cartons shall not exceed 45 pounds. c. Clearly label all pallet number in that particular run (i.e. Pallet 1, Pallet 2, etc.) and the beginning and ending case numbers (Cases 1-24, Cases 25-48, etc.). d. Cartons and pallets must be assembled at a height of no more than 54” from the floor. If corner guards are used, they cannot exceed the height of the top carton. e. Pallets must be double shrink-wrapped over the top and all four sides of the pallet to prevent shifting or spillage during shipping. f. All orders must be shipped directly from Contractor’s printing facility to the DGS Transit Warehouse in a closed and securely locked and sealed vehicle. A lock and numbered seal, provided by Contractor, must be placed on the truck’s loading door, and must not be unlocked or unsealed while in transit.
