This project consists of assisting CA ARNG cultural resources staff in updating databases, synthesizing assorted cultural resources data and finalizing directives and standard operating procedures in support of revision of the CA ARNG’s ICRMP. The ICRMP is the National Guard’s statewide guidance/planning document for the management of cultural resources in compliance with both federal and state laws, and serves as the basis for statewide cultural resources compliance protocols, management practices, policy and decision-making, and planning. For this reason, implementation of an ICRMP at the state level is mandated by AR 200-1, with revisions/updates required at five-year intervals. The previous CA ARNG ICRMP expired in 2009 and needs to be updated with additional data and updated regulatory language and policy guidance. The work described in this SOW will play a significant role in the CA ARNG’s ICRMP revision process by providing the follow services: data collection and compilation; data synthesis and database creation, including GIS data; and production and reproduction of databases and other reference materials, including mapping, and constructing the main volume containing key components of the plan in both digital and print formats.
