Carmel Del Mar School Modernization Project The District owns real property located at 12345 Carmel Park Drive, San Diego, California 92130 (“Carmel Del Mar Property”). The Carmel Del Mar School Modernization Project will be constructed on the Carmel Del Mar Property, which consists of approximately 3 acres. Total combined building area of the Proposed Project is +/- 47,000 sq.ft. The proposed project would include modernizations such as roofing/HVAC, painting, upgrading sewer, ADA accessibility; modernizing learning studios (whiteboards, tackboards, carpet, casework replacement, etc.); upgrading technology infrastructure; and interior upgrades to the Innovation Center (library), Multi-Use Room, exterior shade and landscaping improvements, and front office. The District will be pursuing State funds. The proposed project would not affect student enrollment, staffing, or circulation patterns at the site. The estimated construction budget for the Carmel Del Mar School Modernization Project is $10,000,00.00. The estimated performance period for the construction services is 14 months to begin in June 2026. Ashley Falls School Modernization Project The District owns real property located at 13030 Ashley Falls Drive, San Diego, CA 92130 (“Ashley Falls Property”). The Ashley Falls School Modernization Project will be constructed on the Ashley Falls Property, which consists of approximately 4.1 acres. Total combined building area of the Ashley Falls School Modernization Project is +/- 65,000 sq.ft. The proposed project would include modernizations such as roofing/HVAC, painting, upgrading sewer, ADA accessibility; modernizing learning studios (whiteboards, tackboards, carpet, casework replacement, etc.); upgrading technology infrastructure; and interior upgrades to the Innovation Center (library), Multi-Purpose Room, exterior shade and landscaping improvements, and front office. The District will be pursuing State funds. Site demolition would be minimal and non-invasive. The proposed project would not impact student enrollment, staffing, or circulation patterns at the site. The estimated construction budget for the Ashley Falls School Modernization Project is $13,500,00.00 The estimated performance period for the construction services is 18 months to begin in June 2027 or earlier.
