The City of Pasadena Housing Department is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to collect details from consultants and contractors who can provide pre-design and construction services in support of the City’s 2nd Unit Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Loan Program. The information gathered will be used to create an informational list of consultants that homeowners may reference when seeking professional services for their ADU projects. This list will include firms specializing in areas such as structural engineering, civil engineering, design services, Title 24/energy consulting, surveying, and geotechnical engineering. Homeowners participating in the program will be able to consult this informational list when identifying potential service providers. The City will also include a disclaimer making clear that the list is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute an endorsement, approval, or recommendation of any consultant or contractor.
