The City currently envisions that the consulting firm’s scope of work would include the following regarding research into voters’ priorities and interest in a ballot measure: Design a scientifically valid survey instrument Conduct a statistically representative survey of voters to identify their priorities and interest in a bond program for infrastructure projects, a parcel tax dedicated to public safety, and/or a special sales tax dedicated to public safety ballot measure Analyze survey results to determine voters’ priorities and interest in a ballot measure Provide results of the survey in a detailed report Present the report and provide recommendations to the City Council and public regarding community priorities and ballot measure viability
