1. MOBILIZE EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS ● Schedule and organize the pickup and delivery of owner-furnished playground components. 2. DEMO AND DISPOSE OF EXISTING EQUIPMENT (NOT IN THE SCHOOL DUMPSTERS) ● The contractor will remove old play components, except the main structural posts, and dispose of them properly. 3. INSTALLATION ● Sand and paint existing posts with contractor-provided epoxy paint, color to be matched with drawings and equipment. ● Install new playground components on existing main structural posts. ● Top coat rubberized play surfacing to match existing as needed.. 4. LABOR AND MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT ● The Miracle Recreation Equipment will be installed per the manufacturer’s specifications and by an MREC-certified installer. ● Provide all new, necessary usage labels (i.e. warning labels, appropriate age labels, etc.) ● Temporary fencing and restrooms are required. ● The contractor will provide a 1 one-year installation warranty. ● The contractor will coordinate work with the District’s Project Manager for installation and inspections.
