A. Contractor shall provide pest and rodent control. inspection and extermination for all designated locations and all designated buildings. B. Contractor shall provide routine services, all labor, materials, tools, and equipment needed to eliminate and control insects, spiders, and rodents. Including but not limited to the control of crawling insects, ants, carpet beetles, earwigs, fleas, crickets, kissing bugs, moths, roaches, silverfish, sow beetles, weevils, spiders (black widow and recluse), and rats, mice, and other pests and rodents in and around the buildings. C. The service shall include the removal of all spider webs around the doorways, windows, and eaves of all buildings. D. Contractor shall return to the site and re-treat at no additional cost to CAL FIRE if the scheduled treatment proves to be ineffective. E. Contractor shall respond within 48 hours of an emergency service call. F. Regular communication between project representatives and Contractor will be necessary in situations of inclement weather. G. Contractor shall notify the CALFIRE Representative ahead of time of any date the Contractor plans on working. H. Contractor shall only use non-caustic and non-hazardous materials. I. Contractor shall provide CAL FIRE Project Representative a minimum of one (1) days’ notice prior to spraying. CAL FIRE staff must be present for interior building services. For locations that are serviced less than regular monthly schedules, the CAL FIRE Project Representative shall coordinate services with the Contractor. J. Contractor shall provide and install bait boxes to eliminate rats, mice, and other rodents. Contractor shall provide additional glue traps, if necessary, to treat any on-going problem. All bait boxes installed shall become the property of CAL FIRE. Contractor shall provide the bait/traps at scheduled locations and/or to the CAL FIRE Project Representative. K. The Contractor shall provide rodent bait control and preventative chemical spray for all general pests serviced. L. Contractor shall post written notice showing dates of when past spraying was completed, the chemical used and the time when it’s safe to return. M. Contractor shall complete and initial all service tickets for each service and have a CAL FIRE Project Representative sign the service ticket for work done. In the event no CAL FIRE Project Representative is available, Contractor shall leave initialed service ticket in an agreed upon location at the service site. N. Contractor shall comply with all State, County and OSHA Rule and Regulations, along with safety practices during the entire project. O. Chemicals used shall be registered with the California Department of Pesticide Regulation as appropriate for the intended use. Contractor shall provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for chemicals used in the performance of the service.
