Specifications include, but are not limited to: t is the intent of these specifications, terms, and conditions for Alameda County Behavioral Health (hereafter ACBH or County) to seek proposals for the provision of services for three (3) service categories. These service categories are all part of a larger County Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Innovation project, entitled Peer Led Continuum, Forensic and Reentry Services, which includes four programs, all led by people with lived experience, including certified peer specialists and family support specialists; these programs are intended to reduce incarceration and increase participation in mental health services. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is seeking proposals three (3) service categories including: A Forensic Peer Respite focused on serving individuals with mental health challenges who are involved with the criminal justice system; A peer-led Reentry Coaching program to support individuals transition back to the community from jail; and Peer-led Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) for Reentry groups to support individuals to address mental health and forensic needs and avoid future forensic involvement. The County is seeking a qualified agency or agencies for each service categories. Qualified bidders can respond to one or more service categories in this RFP. Qualified bidders do not need to respond to all three service categories. A separate proposal is required for each service category.
