The City of Pasadena is seeking professional services from qualified Consultants to support development and adoption of the Pasadena Citywide Active Transportation Plan (Project). This project is funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) SS4A program and the completed Project must satisfy all the Action Plan criteria established by the SS4A program. The City of Pasadena has a long history of planning for and implementing walking, biking, and rolling infrastructure and has implemented a significant portion of the improvements and policies identified in previous active transportation related plans that include the 2024 Pedestrian Transportation Action Plan, 2021 Greenways Feasibility Study, 2015 Bicycle Transportation Action Plan, and 2006 Pedestrian Plan. The Project will build upon this established planning foundation to create a unified vision for walking, biking and rolling in the City, complementing the ongoing updates to Specific Plans within the City.
