III. Altamont Sector Specific Requirements: a. System Numbers i. Carnegie SVRA: CA3910301 b. Water Testing Specifications i. Contractor will provide all materials, tools, and equipment necessary to retrieve samples and complete bacteriological testing of samples on the water supply system at Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA). ii. Contractor shall take three samples BEFORE THE 15Th of each month. 1. One (1) sample taken from Carnegie Main Well, located at 18600 Corral Hollow Road, Tracy, CA 95376. This site is immediately across the road (to the north) from the park. See Sample Detail. 2. One (1) chlorine residual test at the wellhead located at 18600 Corral Hollow Road, Tracy, CA 95376 as required by the State Water Resource Control Board. 3. One (1) sample taken at Carnegie SVRA located at 18600 Corral Hollow Road, Tracy, CA 95376. Rotating between three (3) sample sites; Sample site #1: campground restroom #2 (located at the entrance to the campground), sample site #2: Concession (park store); and sample site #3: hose bib behind Maintenance Shop. Contractor shall rotate these three sample sites each month. (Example: one (1) sample taken from main well house one (1) month and the other sample taken from concession store the next month and so on) See Sample Detail. Contractor will incur any penalties due to contractor’s failure to adhere to all contract provisions. iii. Contractor will notify David Burns, the Park Maintenance Chief, David.Burns@parks.ca.gov within twenty-four (24) hours of a positive bacteriological test by phone at (925) 409-8400, and written confirmation sent within seventy-two hours (72) to Diablo Range District Office 15751 Tesla Road, Livermore, CA 94550-9167 to the attention of the Water Treatment Operator. Contractor must re-test the same location within that twenty-four- hour period. iv. The contractor will ensure a copy of the water custody form to be included with the monthly invoices. The contractor will provide written test results one (1) scanned copy emailed to David.Burns@parks.ca.gov and one copy mailed by the fifth (5) of each month to Carnegie SVRA Office located at 15751 Tesla Road, Livermore, CA 94550-9167 to the attention of the Water Treatment Operator. v. Contractor shall take nine additional bacteriological samples during the length of this contract. These samples will be on an on-call basis. Contractor will be instructed where to take samples from by a State Representative. The Department of Parks and Recreation has several wells located throughout Carnegie SVRA area and may have these wells tested. This will account for the nine (9) additional tests.
