Specifications include, but are not limited to: The department of Beaches & Harbors is seeking a Parking Operations Consultant to evaluate elements of the Department's current parking operations and provide recommendations for improvement and streamlining. The Department operates 13 parking lots in Marina del Rey and 18 parking lots at 11 County-operated beaches between Nicholas Canyon and White Point-Royal Palms, with a total of approximately 11,000 parking spaces. The Department currently contracts with a private company for parking lot management services. The Department has installed and maintains 47 automated fee collection machines (Pay and Display machines) at the various lots that are used when the lots are not staffed by the parking lot management services contractor. The Pay and Display machines are nearing the end of their useful life.
