a. The Contractor shall remove 2” (two inches) of asphalt, apply tack coat, and replace 2” (two inches) of asphalt. The Contractor shall verify the approximate total of 90,000 sq. ft. of parking lot and vehicular lanes. Asphalt weight tickets shall be verified with the DMV Project Manager. b. The Contractor shall apply two (2) or more coats of asphalt seal covering on all asphalt surfaces a minimum of thirty (30) days after asphalt installation. c. The Contractor shall install four (4) asphalt speed bumps, two (2) speedbumps to be twenty (20) ft each, two (2) speed bumps to be thirty-five (35) ft each. d. Work includes replacement of forty (40) concrete wheel stops: Realign and predrill new bumpers. e. The Contractor shall stripe entire parking lot after asphalt overlay. The Contractor shall repaint existing painted curbs, arrows and symbols with same original colors and re-stripe per specification all existing spaces and lines with matching original colors or colors to meet Title 24 of the 2016 CBC.
