a. The Contractor shall clean existing asphalt surfaces and complete all minor asphalt repairs and oil removal as indicated on the plans, specifications or indicatedat the job walk. The Contractor shall fill all cracks over 1/4" wide with pre-approved rubberized crack filler. b. The Contractor shall verify all measurements and dimensions and conditions. c. The Contractor shall apply two (2) or more coats of asphalt seal covering on all asphalt surfaces. d. Work includes replacement and reinstallation of broken or damaged concrete wheel stops, and realigning, pre-drilling, and securing loose wheel stops. e. The Contractor shall install bollards where indicated in Exhibit H, Drawings. f. The Contractor shall repaint existing painted curbs, arrows and symbols with same original colors, and re-stripe all existing spaces and liines per specification. g. The Contractor shall remove and replace disabled persons signage at each disabled parking space and replace with new signage the same size. h. The Contractor shall mark the motorcycle parking space "MOTORCYCLE PARKING ONLY" and paint the bollards yellow where applicable. i. The Contractor shall paint all handicapped space blue lines centered on top of a six-inch (6") wide white line. Two (2) coats of white paint six-inches (6") wide lines painted first and then two (2) coats of blue paint four-inch (4") wide lines painted centered on top of the white lines. j. The Contractor shall black out all existing parking lot striping that shall not be repainted after seal coating the parking lot. The Contractor shall black out the lines prior to applying the first seal coat. k. The Contractor shall add white sand to the first coat of paint on top of the curbing around the building. The Contractor shall add the sand while the first coat is still wet and then paint a second coat to encapsulate the sand to help prevent slipping. l. The Contractor shall fill all cracks with hot rubberized crack filler after blowing out the dirt in the cracks. m. All square footages, quantities of replacement materials, and measurements are approximate, and it is the Contractors responsibility to measure for accurate quantities for square footages and quantities of materials needed to complete the contract asspecified. n. The Contractor shall secure all wheel stops by driving curb fasteners down to flush with the top of the wheel stop, applying adhesive to hold down raised wheel stops and replace all broken wheel stops. o. No work shall be performed during business hours. p. Thirteen (13) stalls to be painted yellow, curb behind stalls to be yellow, wheel stops to be yellow, “RESERVED” to be in yellow at the entrance of each stall.
