Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Work under this scope of work (SOW) is under the jurisdiction of the CHP, who will execute the contract documents, coordinate with the Contractor as necessary, and conduct inspections to insure the work is being done in strict accordance with the specifications. No deviations from these specifications will be permitted without concurrence and subsequent authorization from the CHP Facilities Coordinator. B. Contractor shall attend a pre-construction meeting with the CHP Facilities Coordinator and the Area office contact, at which time the Contractor will provide a work schedule and any job-related submittals. C. Contractor must field verify all measurements encompassed by the project and is solely responsible for their accuracy.D. All removed material must be recycled where possible and debris, including packaging material must be removed off- site. E. Contractor is to ensure all existing surfaces and materials designated are to remain protected from damage. F. Contractor shall be responsible for the conduct of his/her subcontractors. (if applicable)G. The Contractor, at no expense to the State of California, will repair any damage caused by the Contractor or any of his/her workers.H. Contractor shall keep all areas clean during working hours.I. Contractor shall maintain a safe working environment to prevent injuries to CHP personnel or damage to CHP property. J. Unforeseen conditions shall be reported to the CHP Facilities Coordinator immediately and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
