1. SCOPE 1.1 These bid specifications and administrative requirements establish the requirements for paper towels and toilet paper to be used by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) at statewide institutions. 1.2 This purchase will be utilizing the departments consolidated purchasing capacity to leverage lowest price based on large quantity discounts. 2. SPECIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS 2.1 Specifications, standards, and administrative requirements referenced in this document shall be in effect on the date and at the time of quote submittal and are a part of the solicitation. The minimum requirements for this request for quotation are detailed in the Quote Worksheet showing size, quantities, and unit of measure. CDCR is allowing for a .05 (+or-) dimensional tolerance. 3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Standard Items; Product shall be a typical and continuing item(s) in the manufacturing line and shall be dentified by general style, type and size in the manufacturers catalog. 3.2 Size; Various sizes and colors as specified on the Quote Worksheet. 3.3 Materials and Construction; Product shall be new and/or recycled content, first quality, no irregulars or seconds and uitable for the intended use. 4. ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS 4.1 All deliveries shall be F.O.B. Destination, Freight Pre-Paid. 4.2 Deliveries will be made to various locations throughout the State of California (see attached Delivery Schedule) 4.3 Prior delivery arrangements shall be made for all deliveries whether for complete or partial orders, no exceptions. Shipments of incorrect items shall be returned to the supplier at no cost to the State.
