DESCRIPTION: This is an update to a previous synopsis to provide a compilation of questions and answers in reference to the draft solicitation previously provided. The response time for capabilities statements is not extended. THE DRAFT SOLICITATION IS PROVIDED IN THIS NOTICE PROVIDING ANSWERS TO VENDOR QUESTIONS AND/OR FEEDBACK AND IS NOT AN OFFICIAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THE NOTICE ATTACHMENTS ARE LOCKED AND AVAILABLE VIA SAM.GOV ONLY. NOTICE ATTACHMENTS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED VIA EMAIL.
PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government is contemplating a Cost Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Cost type contract for one a base period of 8 months, four one-year option periods, and another option period of 4 months (all periods totaling 5 years). The solicitation will be competed via a small business set aside.
The solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted in Contract Opportunities on the SAM website at https://sam.gov/ on or about Q2 FY 2023.
Interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://sam.gov/ to start doing business with the federal government.
No responses are required or requested by the Government as the compilation of questions and answers are provided for informational purposes only.
*Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or Export Controlled Information. Access to CUI is limited, to a single point of contact (POC) per CAGE code, who is listed as the Data Custodian on the DD 2345 and approved by Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The DD 2345 must be approved prior to requesting access to CUI in SAM.gov. Contractors are responsible for coordinating with their CAGE code’s Data Custodian POC to request access to CUI.
