Specifications include, but are not limited to: San Francisco Public Works (Public Works), a department of the City and County of San Francisco (City), announces a Request for Qualifications (RFQ), seeking to award up to two (2) contracts to pre-qualified Consultant or joint venture firms to provide professional lighting design and other related services on City projects on an as-needed basis. A. The selected Consultant, with its team of subconsultants, shall provide Lighting Design Services for various building projects on an as-needed basis. Scope of work may include building lighting assessments and recommendations, lighting conceptualization, design, specifications, and construction documentation, engineering calculations, field visits, coordination meetings with the Project Manager, and other related work. B. Projects may include various building facilities, such as, library buildings, fire stations, police stations, health service centers, hospital buildings, recreation centers, and other City-owned facilities. C. The Consultant may be required to make presentations to the Board of Supervisors and various City Commissions, Public Works’ Clients, and at neighborhood/community meetings. All work shall be done in conformance with Public Works’ procedures, guidelines, and directions.
