The City of El Cajon (City) is seeking interested and qualified consultants to provide professional Public Works inspection services to support various divisions within the Engineering Services department. The divisions include but are not limited to Capital Improvement Projects, Traffic Engineering, Private (Land) Development, Wastewater and Stormwater. Public Works inspectors perform engineering inspection of public and private works and ensure conformance with plans, specifications, and safety standards. Engineering inspections will be performed for various public works construction including sewer and storm drain systems, transportation infrastructure, City-owned facilities, parks, and utility construction. The prospective firm shall provide a minimum of two (2) full-time equivalent Public Works inspectors who will augment City staff. The Public Works inspectors must be local to San Diego County.
