The goals of the community day reporting center are to reduce client re-offending, provide clients needed services in one location, and increase public safety by holding clients accountable. The program should utilize an evidence-based model designed to assess and plan for service delivery to address the criminogenic, mental health, and substance use risk factors and needs of each client. Staffing and programming should include particular emphasis of a multi-disciplinary team capable of providing emerging or existing statemandated clinical programs such as Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT), Mobile Crisis Services, Collaborative Courts, and Substance Use Disorder Service integration. Clients will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop an individualized case plan that may result in positive changes in their lives. The case plan may include structured programming, clinical services, education, housing referrals, vocational training and job placement, and other referrals as needed to public or private programs. Thereafter, the client and multi-disciplinary team will work together to successfully carry out the case plan. Services will be provided to the client in a caring, inviting environment. The team will also hold clients accountable for their lack of participation and/or violations of probation.
