Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Portland, Bureau of Police, is seeking proposals from individuals, firms, teams,or consultants, hereafter called "Proposer(s)", to teach Cross-Cultural Communication torecruit officers attending the Portland Police Bureau's Advanced Academy, as well as otherBureau-related training . The Police Bureau proposes to engage the successful Proposerfor the following services:This training is focused on cultures and how each individual's culture andbackground affect decision making and perceptions of others. This will include ablock of instruction up to twelve (12) hours long that is offered twice in a calendaryear over two (2) days in an academy setting from July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2012
