Ventura Water is seeking proposals from qualified environmental consulting teams with expertise in estuarine ecology and species monitoring as well as in biostatistics and ecological data analysis. The selected consultant will support MAAMP implementation by conducting data collection through fieldwork, managing and analyzing data, supporting the City’s decisionmaking process, preparing reports, and coordinating with regulatory agencies and other vested parties. All fieldwork will follow existing Standard Operating Procedures developed during the PCAP phase, with future modifications allowable if needed. Selected firms should build on the City’s existing data collection and management framework to develop analytical pipelines that successfully evaluate the effects of Phase 1a discharge reductions on the SCRE and its focal species, and that will strategically inform the City’s decision of whether to proceed with Phase 1b discharge reductions.
