Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Evergreen State Fairgrounds (FAIR) is seeking to contract with a private security company for the purpose of providing for those gate and uniformed/unarmed security functions which are not covered under the public event security agreement between the FAIR and the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department. scope OF SERVICES: Anticipated duties include the following: Daily Gate Security: Responsible for providing security to the admissions personnel at designated fairground entrance areas. Gate Security shall be observant and monitor crowds at these entry points for potential problems, and (through Supervisor) communication with on-site Sheriff Department dispatch regarding those issues related to security or law enforcement as designated by Fair Manager. Grandstand Security: Provides back stage, front of the house and perimeter security during the Monster Truck and Concert Series scheduled in the Grandstands. Grandstand Security may assist with crowd control as designated by Fair Administration or Sheriff Department. Supervisor: A supervisor with the authority to represent your company in operational and staffing decisions shall be physically present and available on-site whenever contracted security personnel are performing the duties described in this RFP. Supervisor shall attend daily Safety meetings.
