The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor and materials necessary to print the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts 2018-2019 Season Brochures and deliver them to Orange County Direct Mail mailing house May 21- 23, 2018. QUANTITY: Option 1: 724,000 Option 2: 570,000 SIZE: 8.375” x 21.75” sheet, folds once and trimmed to a finished size of 8.375” x 10.875” PAGES: 28-page self-cover plus a six-page gate with vertical perforation (see Ticket Order Form Insert section below) STOCK: Cover, interior, and order form: 60# Capistrano Matte Text or equivalent (Sample sheets must be provided with bid submission.) FORMAT: Saddle-stitched, two stitches on the 8.375” way INK: 4/4, full-bleed, medium to heavy coverage VARNISH: Overall satin varnish coating with the exception of a knock-out of the varnishing on the order form and a section of the back cover. TICKET ORDER FORM INSERT: A ticket order form must be printed and placed in the back of the brochure, just before the inside back cover. (The form will be stitched in with the other pages.) The form will have a perforation. The form is 4/4. The form dimensions are 8.375” x 21", folding once to fit inside the book. The form is to be set up as a normal gate fold (folded to the left). In addition to the Option 1: 724,000 or Option 2: 570,000 order forms included in the brochure, an additional 2,000 stand-alone order forms are to be printed. ARTWORK: The City will provide a print quality PDF. PROOFS: The selected printer must provide a full set of bluelines and match proofs for review by the City and its graphic designer. PRESS CHECKS: Press checks must be scheduled between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Printing must be done locally. Bids from out-of-state printers will not be accepted. EQUIPMENT: Contractor must have full web press capability. No sub-contracting arrangements will be accepted. Bids from print brokers will not be accepted.
