The LA County Department of Beaches & Harbors is requesting the Installation and Rental of a power pole per the following specifications at Will Rogers Beach. Approximate Site Address for Power Pole Installation: 16430 Pacific Coast Highway, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272 Note: Power pole is to be installed in Will Rogers beach parking lot approximately 200 feet north of the above address. To access location above, contractor will need to enter Will Rogers State Beach at the intersection of PCH and Temescal Canyon Blvd (17000 PCH) and then drive north through the parking lots. The Department will be using this power pole to provide power to the following units currently on site: 1. Double-wide Modular Office Trailer 2. Restroom Trailer The installed power pole should also be set up to provide power to future equipment to be stationed in the area including: 1. Mechanic’s Bay – with lighting and general maintenance equipment 2. Pumps for two temporary above ground fuel tanks, 1 – diesel, 1 - 87 At a minimum, power pole specs should include the following: 1 – Electrical Meter - 1 Ph 200a 240v 4 Clip O/H Com 1 – Distribution Panel - 1 Ph 200a 120/240v Mn Bkr 3 wr 250 #4 AL-Tac-On 1– Pole – Black Diamond (25 feet) 3 – Trailer Hook ups 60 feet – UG Cable- 1/0 Type MC 3 wire w/ #4 gnd per ft. (Note: 50 feet is approximate length, may need increased length based on actual power pole placement.) 4 – 1/0 Watertight Type MC Cable Connector 75 feet – #4 PVC jacketed type MC cable 3 wire w/gnd 1 – Electrical Meter Permit 1 – Overhead Utility Meter Hookup Fee 2 – Runners Fees 2 – Ground Rod - 8 Foot All bids should include county electrical permits and DWP fees. Monthly rental charges for a 12-month (1-year) period, with the option of renewal. All vendors/contractors shall maintain current license(s) and certification required
