A. Needs Assessment, Design and Documentation Services: 1. Meet with key project representatives to define goals for the project, including quality, function, budget and schedule. 2. Discuss strategies and implementation of the FUSD Furniture Standards. 3. Establish a preliminary budget estimate and schedule for review and approval. 4. Evaluate operations, program and equipment influences to establish goals and objectives for furniture selections. 5. Explore furniture solutions to meet the requirements and goals established for the projects, including all new classrooms and existing spaces changing use. 6. Create design specifications with imagery, recommended finishes, quantities and supporting technical criteria. 7. Develop location plans keyed to furniture typologies. 8. Coordinate infrastructure with contract documents as needed. 9. Coordinate furniture layouts with reflected ceiling plans and finish plans. 10.Deliverables include: In- person meetings along with intermediate conference calls, preliminary schedule, preliminary budget estimate, a Basis of Design (BOD) with design specifications and revisions, drawings and product imagery, and keyed location plans. B. Vendor Coordination Services: 1. Coordinate with District and Vendors as needed to implement the District Furniture Standards and develop Basis of Design. 2. Consult on proposal reviews as needed for completeness and accuracy. 3. Deliverables include in-person meetings along with intermediate conference calls.
