3.1 PHYSICAL TRAINING UNIFORMS The physical training uniforms follow Cadet Regulation 1-8 dated June 1st, 2021, and the standard is configured as follow: 3.2 T-SHIRTS Description: 3.2.1 Color: Black 3.2.2 Fabric: 60% combed ringspun cotton/40% polyester jersey 3.2.3 Fabric weight: 4.3 oz. (min) 3.2.4 Thread weight: 32 singles (min) 3.2.5 Style: Slightly heathered 3.2.6 Collar: 1-inch x 1-inch baby rib-knit set-in 3.2.7 Sizes: Youth Medium - Adult 3XL. 3.2.8 Prints: Silkscreen (designs/locations to be finalized by CA Cadet Corps and contractor after award) see Fig. 1. 3.2.8.1 Front: CA Cadet Corps Crest, 2-color (white under-base Pantone Matching System (PMS) 130C) (no larger than 4-inch x 4-inch), including a white 1-inch x 4-inch heat seal/heat press rectangle material that would allow a person to write a name/identification on the inside portion, bottom front of the shirt. 3.2.8.2 Back: “CALIFORNIA CADET CORPS”, up to 3-color (white underbase PMS 130C – Highlight White) font to be chosen after award. 3.2.8.3 Sleeve: California Flag, 6-color (5-colors plus white under-base), size 2-inch x 3-inch, on the right shoulder. Flag design to be approved by CA Cadet Corps. Heat transfer is also acceptable. 3.3 SHORTS Description: 3.3.1 Color: Black 3.3.2 Fabric: 100% polyester mesh, moisture-wicking 3.3.3 Fabric weight: 3.4 oz. (min) 3.3.4 Dyed-to match tricot lining 3.3.5 Construction: Double layer with open, individually hemmed layers. 3.3.6 Waistband: Elastic, Continuous loop. Includes draw cord for adult sizes. 3.3.7 Inseam: 7-inch 3.3.8 Sizes: Youth Medium - Adult 3XL. 3.3.9 Prints: Silkscreen prints (design/locations to be finalized by CA Cadet Corps and contractor after award) See Fig. 2. 3.3.9.1 Front: CA Cadet Corps Crest, 2-color (no larger than 4-inch x 4-inch), including a white heat seal/heat press rectangle material 1-inch x 4- inch (located inside the right leg just below waistband) that would allow a person to write a name/identification on the shorts.
