Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Amador County Behavioral Health Department is requesting proposals from qualified providers to implement an Outreach and Engagement program in Amador County. The Outreach and Engagement program provides outreach and engagement services to members of isolated rural communities and underserved populations throughout Amador County. The objectives of the Outreach and Engagement program include outreach/prevention education, and early intervention to isolated rural area consumers by teaching coping mechanisms, providing alternatives to negative or harmful behaviors, and increasing social and emotional support systems. Services shall build wellness and resiliency in individuals who are at risk of or may be experiencing early signs of mental illness. The primary goal of the Outreach and Engagement program is to augment the services of the County by providing outreach, prevention education, engagement, support, liaison, and linkage between the community and ACBHS. Successful Respondents will be expected to work in partnership with County staff to coordinate services that are inclusive and accessible and build a seamless system of support for individuals and their families across varying cultural backgrounds and life stages.
