A. POS Hardware Requirements. 1. Contractor must provide and install POS hardware and necessary peripherals such as: a. terminals, b. barcode scanners, c. receipt printers, d. touchscreen monitors, e. cash drawers, and f. self-service kiosks. 2. Contractor must provide configurable POS hardware that can align with hospital cafeteria operation needs and preferences. 3. Contractor must deploy POS stations across designated food service outlets within the ZSFG and LHH campuses that are high-volume hospital-based environments. a. ZSFG estimates the need for 4 POS stations and LHH estimates the need for 2 POS stations. b. The Department may request additional POS stations at a later date, priced at the Unit Cost submitted in Attachment I Cost Proposal Form. B. POS Software Requirements. 1. Contractor must provide an Oracle POS system. 2. Contractor must provide configurable POS software including, if applicable, “Back of House management software” that can manage the administrative and operational behind the scenes tasks of the point-of-sale (POS) system. 3.
