The City Water Resources Department has an operations yard at 148 N. Huntington Street. This site requires multiple infrastructure, pavement, and security improvements. This site will be improved to match the adjacent corporate yard site at 752 W. Commercial Street. The Water Resources Department proposes to construct onsite utility infrastructure, establish walls, fences, gates, and build a paved parking lot. All gravel, soil, and earthwork shall be removed to construct the asphalt concrete parking lot. To secure the site and protect employees electric lights, cameras, and alarms will be installed onsite. The site will be constructed to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, local, and state construction standards. Demolition of some existing vertical infrastructure shall occur and all debris will be removed.
