The selected Proposer will provide special inspection and materials testing services, including, but not limited to: A. Compliance Standards 1) California Building Code (CBC) – Latest Edition 2) ASTM Standards (various depending on material) 3) ACI (American Concrete Institute) Standards 4) AWS (American Welding Society) Codes 5) AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) Specifications 6) City of Elk Grove Standard Specifications 7) Project-specific specifications and drawings B. Concrete Inspections and Testing C. Site Assessments and Observations D. Structural Inspections 1) Steel, concrete, masonry, steel reinforcement, welding, and bolting. E. Soils and Earthwork 1) Classification and testing, including but not limited to, compaction, relative compaction, gradation, expansion index, moisture content, and specific gravity. 2) Field density testing (nuclear gauge or sand cone). 3) Geotechnical observation.
