Weed Control Plan: • Evaluate the work sites for existing weed populations, identifying both perennial and annual weeds. • Outline recommended methods for ongoing weed management, including cultural practices, manual removal techniques where appropriate to minimize soil disturbance, and chemical applications as needed according to best practices, ensuring minimal impact on desirable plants and the environment. • Apply environmentally safe herbicides to prevent the regrowth of weeds where necessary, ensuring compliance with local environmental and safety regulations. • Cut and trim weeds and overgrown vegetation to a height of no more than 2 inches from the ground. Hand-pull weeds where necessary, especially in sensitive areas near plants or hardscapes. Perform precise edge trimming along fences, sidewalks, and structures • Ensure that all abatement activities are compliant with local fire safety regulations, especially regarding creating defensible spaces around structures and fuel reduction zones. • Obtain city approval prior to application. Debris Removal Plan: • Inspect the work site to identify areas with accumulated debris (e.g., fallen branches, leaves, weeds, rubbish, paper, bottles, cans, rocks, gravel, and other debris). • Remove all debris from the designated areas, including hardscapes, planting beds, alleyways, shoulders, fence lines, and slopes. • Properly dispose of all collected debris in accordance with local regulations, including recycling when applicable. • Identified hardscape shall be swept or blown free of debris. Debris shall not be blown into streets or onto adjoining properties • All collected debris shall be disposed of at locations designated by streets representative, unless otherwise stated
