The consultant must perform Land Surveying Services, on an “as-needed” basis to support the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Division of Right of Way, District 7. The Caltrans contract manager will assign specific work to the consultant to augment the Caltrans work force through issuing task orders describing the services to be performed. The consultant must only perform work assigned in an authorized task order. This contract does not guarantee that a task order will be issued. The Consultant may provide services to Caltrans, including, but not limited to, researching existing records (Caltrans and other outside entities), writing survey requests, creating base map/land net maps, Right of Way appraisal maps, Right of Way record maps, documents to convey property rights (deeds and legal descriptions) and other related Right of Way Engineering products.
