The City of Vallejo is soliciting sealed Proposals for On-Call HVAC Services. This Proposal may be a single award or multiple awards based on the evaluation teams’ recommendations. The contract will not guarantee set amounts to be purchased and is subject to funding approval by the City Council. The as-needed work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, and facilities required for HVAC services as needed by the City’s Water Department. The Contractor will provide HVAC services on any of the City-owned or leased properties including, but shall not be limited to, the areas around the Fleming Hill Water Treatment Plant, Green Valley Water Treatment Plant, Travis Air Force Based Water Treatment Plant, 26 pump stations, Lake Frey, Lake Madigan, Lake Curry, Skyview Tank, Cordelia Reservoir, and other reservoirs. Please see Exhibit 1 for images of some of the known areas needing service. Scope of work may include, but shall not be limited to: Contractor will be required to provide trained professional personnel to include tools, meters, boom trucks, and proper diagnostic equipment to perform scheduled and on-call services to ascertain air flow, water flow, delta T, humidity, Freon, electronic conditions, change filters, coil cleanings, and applying lubrication; Contractor will troubleshoot and/or diagnose HVAC/mechanical issues then proceed in recommending either routine or emergency-related servicing for inspections by identifying leaks, determining proper pressure levels, and overall system health. Contractor will provide trained-professional personnel and equipment necessary to perform standard HVAC/mechanical repairs or recommend route or emergency-related replacement of heating and air conditioning unit(s). Contractor must have the necessary equipment and trained-professional personnel to work on split, package, boiler, and chiller systems. Contractor must be able to service high voltage 3 phase wiring. Contractor must provide a written warranty that is satisfactory to the City covering all parts and labor. The warranty timing applies to in-service dates and must be for a period of 90 days or more; All parts and repair work under this contract must conform to manufacturer’s specifications; All repairs, replacements, and installation of heating and air conditioning units must be authorized by the Water Department Plant Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) or their designee before work can begin
