The work will generally consist of, but not be limited to, providing environmental consultant services routinely needed for but not limited to the following: a. Biological Resources • Natural Resource Assessment • Impact avoidance and mitigation planning • Dewatering and species protection plans • Biological construction monitoring • Avian nest surveys • Habitat Restoration and Mitigation Planning • Wetland and Jurisdictional Waters Delineations • Construction monitoring and reporting • Emergency project documentation and reporting • GIS Mapping b. General Environmental Services • Preparation and/or peer review of Environmental Impact Reports (EIR) • Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) • Negative Declarations • Mitigated Negative Declarations • Technical studies • Other California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) and National Environmental Protection Act (“NEPA”) documentation and tasks c. Design services for Public Works and Construction Projects This may include providing consultation for the environmental-related portion of design packages for public works and construction projects, such as: • Natural channel restoration • Fish passage • Flood control • Public access, trails, and parks • Creek and streambank stabilization • Native revegetation
