The Consultant may provide services to Caltrans including, but not limited to, engineering studies producing Project Development and Design products and deliverables to support the preparation of the Project Report (or project report equivalents), Project Approval Report, developing design plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E), virtual design model, bridge load rating (to be completed within the term of the Task Order when the Task Order includes modification of an existing structure that directly results in the need for an updated load rating analysis and the load rating analysis work is specifically listed in the Task Order); support to the Caltrans Structure Office Engineers during project Advertisement and Award; project history files; and design support during the construction phase. All design tasks including, but not limited to, highway bridges, railroad bridges, earth retaining structures, underground structures, sound walls, overhead sign structures, bridge railings and transitions, cable-stay bridges, suspension bridges, movable bridges, ferry boat bridges, segmental bridges, arch bridges, tunneling, high-end analysis, and accelerated bridge construction may be assigned as work under this contract.
