The consultant must perform Land Surveying Services, on an “as-needed” basis to support the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Division of Design, District 7. The Caltrans contract manager will assign specific work to the consultant to augment the Caltrans work force through issuing task orders describing the services to be performed. The consultant must only perform work assigned in an authorized task order. This contract does not guarantee that a task order will be issued. The Consultant may provide services to Caltrans including, but not limited to, control surveys, design and topographic surveys, construction staking, cadastral land net surveys, as-built surveys, utilities surveys, monumentation surveys, Records of Survey, and the preparation, filing, and recordation of survey documents including, but not limited to, survey field notes, monumentation and Records of Survey maps, topographic and design mapping, drawings, and other related survey documents. Other specialty land surveying services provided shall include, but not be limited to, laser scanning including Mobile Terrestrial Laser Scanning (MTLS), 3D/4D Modeling, subsurface utility mapping, surveys utilizing the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), and GIS data collection.
