Widening the Ohlone Greenway and updating lighting where feasible; On-street cycle track on Peralta Avenue between Hopkins Street and the Ohlone Greenway; and Safety improvements at intersection crossings, including rectangular rapid flashing beacons, raised crossings, curb extensions, and median refuges. More specifically, the Work consists of but is not limited to, coordination with utility companies, AC Transit, BART, and nearby businesses and residents; saw-cutting; removal of existing pavement markings and raised pavement markers; removal of existing asphalt concrete pavements; removal of Portland cement concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks; removal of trees and landscaping; construction of new Portland cement concrete sidewalks, curb ramps, and medians; installation of asphalt concrete pavement and raised crossings; adjusting utility boxes and covers to grade; installation of pavement striping and markings; installation of curb paint; installation of signage; installation of and installation of solarpowered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) and lighting.
