The scope of the Agreement for Services is to provide hands-on training programs at no cost to the public for Off-Highway Vehicles (OHV) which includes the following: 1- All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), 2- Off-Highway Motorcycles (OHM), and 3- Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles (ROV). The training programs shall have an emphasis on safety and shall be conducted at all nine (9) State Vehicular Recreation Areas (SVRAs) statewide as listed: Prairie City SVRA, Carnegie SVRA, Hollister Hills SVRA, Oceano Dunes SVRA, Hungry Valley SVRA, Ocotillo Wells SVRA, Heber Dunes SVRA, Clay Pit SVRA, Eastern Kern County Onyx Ranch SVRA and on other accessible public or private lands meeting the program requirements, as determined by the OHMVR Division. Members of the public are responsible for providing their own vehicles and/ or equipment utilized in the training. DPR, or partnership entities receiving training will provide equipment for their respective employees or volunteers. The Contractor’s vehicles and/or equipment required to conduct training classes may be stored at a State Vehicular Recreation Area(s) with approval from the District Superintendent(s). DPR reserves the right to have Contractor provide, when possible, an ATV, OHM and ROV class to selected DPR staff to ensure that the Contractor is providing training that meets the goals and expectations of DPR.
