A. At the request of the CDE Contract Monitor or CDE authorized designee, the Occupational Therapist will provide the assessment, consultation, or direct OT for CSB students who have OT assessment or OT on their IEP, according to a mutually agreed upon, predictable, weekly schedule. Parents of students on the occupational therapy caseload will be notified of their student’s occupational therapy schedule via email. B. The Contractor’s Occupational Therapist(s) should commence services within two weeks of the contract start date. C. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing the necessary equipment and materials needed (for example, weighted vests, adapted utensils, therapy putty, etc.) to perform OT assessments or to provide direct service. The Occupational Therapist will inform each student’s classroom teacher and the CDE Contract Monitor about materials that need to be provided for each student receiving OT services, either on campus or remotely during distance learning.
