Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, travel, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the Contract. The work generally consists of providing annual testing and / or inspection of drive system, structure, hardware, weather seals, safety edges, rollers, cables, springs, and operational systems, as well as proper lubrication. The Contractor is to provide repair services on an as-needed and emergency basis when requested by the General Services Department / Facilities Maintenance Office. Repair services shall be paid on a "time and materials" basis. All parts provided by the Contractor shall be manufacturer approved. All parts will be warranted for one year from the date installed by the Contractor. Emergency Services are to be provided seven days a week (including Saturdays and Sundays). The Contractor shall respond to request for service calls within 4 hours, normally during regular SMUD business hours. All overtime work must be approved by SMUD in advance. All call outs shall be a minimum of 2 hours of work. SMUD s business hours are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. In addition, SMUD observes and will be closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, President s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day All work shall be performed by trained technicians.
